Wonderful for my course salt, it is however huge, but not unwieldy - ideal for seasoning while cooking, but not really for the table, since a little goes a long way. I'm actually thinking of getting another one to fill with a variety of meat spices - like pepper, clove, chilly flakes, coriander and some salt, especially for using when we're having a braai, I think it would make light work of seasoning a whole grill, without any effort.
